The Mission of DW
The Doing Without series offers sequential lessons to model the beliefs of a child who created a false worldview to help them survive their specific situation; a worldview that today can keep them powerless when confronted with grief and loss.
The educational mission of DW
1. to help empower others to develop reality-based views of our past, present, or future gifting's
2. to offer lessons for those willing to fight to integrate more truth in their life, and get on a more solid reality track
3. to provide understanding of the psychology of a “YOYO”
4. to create language and concepts for discussing neglect
5. to provide a format and structure for groups to meet to discuss specific lessons in a guided path to a better life
6. to drive the codification of tacit psychological knowledge so as to make it available to those in various stages of life
Goals for DW TRAIN students
1. to fight to develop a personal system of responding to life by adjusting incorrect models of truth formed in reaction to childhood losses and grief, especially when reawakened or made worse by the triggering of current losses
2. to log responses to truth in each sphere (or part) of life
3. to log skills and choice successes which align with reducing truth deficits in specific spheres of life
4. to log problem-solving successes specific to SOL problems
5. to develop more automatic decision-making in alignment with the truth that is needed for specific SOL problems
6. to participate in dialogue with others on DW lessons
